About Hope on a Swing™
One mother’s story of fierce love, fragile beginnings, and the sacred fight for hope.
It began the day my son was born weighing just over a pound.
That day changed everything—my motherhood, my faith, and the story I felt called to share.
Hope on a Swing™ was born from that NICU journey—filled with machines, quiet prayers, and the kind of love that refuses to give up. In my journey, I discovered something profound that is worth sharing:
every life holds dignity, no matter how small or fragile.
This space is for mothers who are waiting, grieving, healing, or holding on to hope.
If you’ve ever felt invisible in your motherhood, you are seen here.
Meet the Heart Behind Hope on a Swing™

Hi, I’m Sharon Rose — writer, therapist, and mother.
This project was born out of my lived experience navigating motherhood, loss, miracles, and healing.
Hope on a Swing isn’t just a book — it’s a sacred offering. A place for mothers to feel comforted, connected, and reminded that their story has worth. Everything you see here — from the words to the prayer cards — was created with love, care, and dignity in mind. Because every mother’s story deserves to swing forward with hope.
Roots of the Mission
🌹 Every life is sacred – dignity is rooted in presence and love.
🌹 Hope is not passive – it’s a decision, a virtue, and a lifeline.
🌹 Stories matter – especially the ones that don’t tie up neatly.
🌹 Motherhood is a battleground – and a holy one.
🌹 No one should suffer in silence.
Why “Hope on a Swing”?
Because hope rarely stands still.
It moves with us — back and forth — through the ache of waiting and the courage of believing.
A swing rises and falls, just like the heart of a mother who’s praying, grieving, or holding on.
Sometimes she feels the wind of miracles.
Sometimes she just clings to the ropes.
A swing captures the rhythm of motherhood:
The push and pull of longing and love,
The still moments between letting go and holding on.
This space is for those in the in-between —
Where faith isn’t loud, but alive.
Where hope doesn’t always look strong, but it endures.
This name was chosen to honor the unseen strength it takes to keep hoping—
even when you’re not sure where the ground is.
There’s a place for you. Waste no more time.
